Callaway Cars released renderings today of the company’s design study for a C7 Corvette-based shooting brake concept, with Callaway’s long-time design guru, Paul Deutschman of Deutschman Design, Montréal, QC, providing the styling direction. Callaway plans to manufacture the body package providing an openable hatch that would result in a unique configuration and increased interior space, positioning the Corvette in the elite class of two door shooting brakes.Callaway’s AeroWagon body will be manufactured in their proprietary RTM process for structural carbon parts. The KRTM (Krämer Resin Transfer Molding) process produces load carrying carbon parts in one swift molding step.

With the first models rolling off the Marysville, Ohioassembly line today, the all-new 2014 Accord Hybrid (http://automobiles.honda.com/accord-hybrid/) will carry an EPA fuel economy[1] rating of 50 mpg in city driving, making it the new leader in gasoline fuel-economy ratings among 4-door sedans. Set to go on sale at Honda dealerships nationwide later this year, the 2014 Accord Hybrid's city fuel-economy rating is three miles per gallon higher than the closest segment competitor and its calculated driving range of 673 miles[3] is more than 46 miles farther than any vehicle in its segment.
